Mr. Charles W. Pley serves as the Global Legal Counsel for Immigrant Investor Group Inc.’s International Investment Immigration Programs, providing strategic legal guidance and specialized expertise in investor immigration, residency, and citizenship by investment solutions for high-net-worth individuals, families, and international entrepreneurs.

Charles W. Pley is the Founder and Principal Attorney of Immigration Solutions Law Group and brings over 25 years of experience in immigration law, with a significant focus on business immigration and investor immigration programs. His extensive background includes government service, diplomatic assignments, and private legal practice, allowing him to provide clients with unique insight into complex immigration frameworks, regulatory requirements, and investment-based immigration strategies.

Mr. Pley is certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Immigration and Citizenship Law and is widely recognized for his expertise in helping investors, entrepreneurs, and business owners navigate sophisticated immigration pathways to Canada, the United States, and other international destinations. He earned his Juris Doctor degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Canada, and further advanced his international legal knowledge through studies at The Hague Academy of International Law in the Netherlands.

A former Canadian diplomat and overseas visa officer, Mr. Pley has firsthand experience with immigration decision-making, government policies, and international visa systems. He is dual-licensed as a lawyer in Ontario, Canada (1985) and New York, U.S.A. (1992), and is also licensed by the Law Society of Ontario as a Foreign Legal Consultant in U.S. Law.

During his diplomatic career, Mr. Pley served as a Visa Officer at the Canadian Consulate General in Detroit, the Canadian High Commission in Singapore, the Canadian Embassy in Germany, and at National Headquarters in Ottawa, Canada, where he served as Legal Advisor within the Consular and Immigration Affairs Branch.

Since entering private practice in 1994, Mr. Pley has concentrated on international investor immigration and business immigration solutions for high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, investors, professionals, small and medium-sized enterprises, and multinational companies. His experience includes advising clients on complex investment immigration structures, immigration planning strategies, and global mobility solutions.

Mr. Pley has been recognized as a leading practitioner in investor and business immigration to Canada and the United States. He has served as a panel immigration lawyer for a major international financial institution involved in investor-related immigration and has advised clients on investment-based immigration strategies requiring detailed legal and regulatory expertise.

As a published author and frequent speaker, Mr. Pley has shared his knowledge of investor immigration and business immigration topics with leading professional organizations, including the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Law Society of Ontario Continuing Legal Education programs.
